Veterinarian Science – More Than Cats and Dogs

$84.00

Tuesday, 2:30 pm – 3:20 pm

Thursday, 2:30 pm – 3:20 pm

Take a look into what it means to be a veterinarian. Each class will explore different aspects of animal care, basic animal anatomy and systems, and various careers with animals. After learning about the things a veterinarian does in their practice, we will look at internal structures including the skeleton and organs, and note the differences between animals. We will also discuss different diseases and issues animals can have and take turns diagnosing some pretend ailments. This is a hands-on class and will include demonstrating basic pet care and first aid on your “pet.” There will be a possible visit by a veterinarian professional to round out the class as well as visits by some live pets so we can have a closer look.

Minimum Student Enrollment: 5
