Let’s learn to tie knots. The class will cover the five basic crochet stitches: slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet. Please note that all other stitches are a combination or variation of the five basic stitches. A 5.5mm or 6mm crochet hook size is a perfect beginner crochet hook and should be brought to the first day of class. In addition, please purchase one skein of worsted-weight yarn that’s suited for a 5.5mm or 6mm crochet hook. (Hint, it should be on the skein of yarn.) The class project will be a scarf or potholder.
