Mrs. Zinn received her degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University, in 1997. And then she joined the Peace Corps where she worked as a math and science teacher in East Africa. She was surprised by how much she loved teaching. When she came back to the states, she worked as an aerospace engineer for 7 years and then she became a mom. The teaching bug stayed with her and as soon as her boys were old enough, she began looking for opportunities to teach or tutor. She has been involved in education for almost 20 years now and she continues to be amazed and humbled by how much she learns from her students. She lives for those a-ha moments when something clicks! She is also a certified personal trainer and her hobbies include nutrition and aeroponic gardening.
